Hello,  Many thanks for stopping by. This  page is, we suppose, our explanation page.

Suppertonight was dreamed up as an easy to follow site with recipes that actually work. How many times have you bought a cookery book, only to find you only use 2 or 3 of the recipes. In a way, this site is our  2 or 3 recipes from all over the place, combined.

Suppertonight is not, and never will be, an exhaustive recipe index. You will not find 300 recipes for cheesecake here, or anything else, for that matter.

What you will find are Easy to follow recipes for classic dishes that actually work. You will not be asked to learn difficult tecniques, or attempt complicated procedures. The most difficult thing you will be asked to do is to skin a tomato.

Nor will you need strange or unusual kitchen utensils, although one or two recipes need a food processor.

All the recipes here have been cooked by us. And then photographed, and then eaten by us, before we write the web page and publish it. So if it doesn't work,  or we just don't like it, then it doesn't get in. This does mean, however, that it will take time for the site to grow. We aim to stop at around 200 recipes.

So, give it a go. We hope you will get as much pleasure from this site as we have had from creating it.
